Material and Equipment Management: Assist in managing the procurement, delivery, and tracking of construction materials and equipment.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize the procurement process, reduce lead times, and enhance overall efficiency.
Report Generation: Prepare project status reports, updates, and presentations for project managers and stakeholders.
Documentation: Aids in the preparation, expediting, and monitoring of documents (reports, schedules, invoices, ASIs, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes/agendas, daily reports, change orders, punch lists, inspections, closeout, and stakeholder presentations).
Schedule Management: Collaborate with the Superintendent to maintain and update project schedules, 3-week look ahead, tracking progress and milestones.
Contractor Coordination: Assist in coordinating contractor activities, including scheduling, quality control, and safety.
Team Meeting: Actively participate in any Owner/Architect/Construction Management Agent (OAC), coordination, trade contractor, scheduling, and any other meetings.
Issue Resolution: Address project-related issues and challenges promptly, seeking guidance from the Superintendent and/or Project Manager as needed and keeping them fully informed in a timely fashion regarding any to all problem areas on the project.
Leadership: Developing leadership skills to assist in coordinating project teams, managing tasks, and facilitating communication.
Quality Control: Support quality assurance efforts by conducting inspections, verifying work meets specifications, and addressing deficiencies.
Contractor Relations: Maintain communication with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors to coordinate orders and deliveries.
Site Supervision: Assist the Superintendent in daily site supervision, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Site Organization: Contribute to maintaining an organized and clean construction site, optimizing workflow and safety.
