Hubbell Incorporated
Designs, manufactures and sells electrical and utility infrastructure products for commercial, industrial and utility markets.
Machine and fabricate tools, parts, and dies for manufacturing processes, adhering to ISO requirements and performing maintenance on equipment.
Machine and/or fabricate fixtures, jigs, dies, and other miscellaneous tooling as required for production equipment.
Occasionally stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Help maintain all manufacturing and assembly equipment.
Help solve problems in the manufacturing area, through observation, advice and by modifying tooling as required.
Measure sharpened cutting tools to verify conformance to specifications.
Perform periodic maintenance and lubrication of tool room equipment.
Perform periodic maintenance and lubrication of tool grinding equipment.
Grind special form tools, involving special setups and wheel dressing.
Stand and or sit on stool in one area for up to two (2) hours at a time.
Turn and assemble production parts with fingers and hands for up to two (2) hours at a time.
Machine and/or fabricate sample parts for both sales and test lab.
Design, modify, or make special tools according to specifications or tooling requirements.
Set up and operate grinding machines such as universal, drill, and tool and cutter grinders, to grind and sharpen cutting tools.

High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be able to perform basic reading, writing and mathematical functions.

Ability to move about the facility moving product.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructions.
Basic mathematical skills are required. Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide.
Employees must have prior experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably working with manual equipment such as grinders, mills, lathes, etc. Individuals must take a mechanical aptitude test when applying for this position. Employees must be able to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings and be skilled in the use of precision instruments.
Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing.
