The Senior Network Engineer / Administrator designs, implements, and supports complex network and systems infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security in a highly regulated environment. This role configures, deploys, and maintains network equipment, monitors system performance, troubleshoots issues, applies updates, leads infrastructure projects, supports security initiatives, mentors junior engineers, and maintains comprehensive network documentation across data centers, branch offices, and corporate locations.
- Design, configure, patch, deploy, and maintain enterprise network across data centers, branch offices, and corporate locations
- Ensure maximum network uptime and performance through proactive monitoring, diagnostics, and incident resolution
- Configure and manage firewalls, switches, and Wi‑Fi infrastructure (Fortinet, Ruckus, Dell OS10)
- Implement and maintain network security measures with IT security team to meet CMMC Level 2 compliance
- Partner with Systems Architect and Systems Administrator to deliver projects and manage unified infrastructure
- Assist branch office support teams during outage recovery, upgrades, and network modifications
- Engage vendors and service providers to evaluate solutions, manage support cases, and track deliverables
- Prepare and execute change requests with testing and rollback procedures
- Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and procedures per BRPH standards
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance
- Lead project teams, assign tasks, and coordinate onsite resources
- Support compliance and audit activities for network infrastructure and data protection standards
- Track and report individual and project KPIs, including utilization, budget adherence, and documentation quality
- Participate in weekly team huddles with status updates and metrics

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering, or equivalent experience, and have at least seven years of enterprise network administration and security experience. Required skills include strong knowledge of communication protocols, scripting, security best practices, troubleshooting under pressure, change‑control leadership, and familiarity with vSphere, converged storage networking, RMM and monitoring tools. Preferred qualifications include advanced degrees, industry certifications, automation expertise, and experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, CMMC, and ITAR.
