Overview: Supports project teams using a wide range of developing professional skills. Performs basic design and technical tasks requiring application of standard techniques and knowledge while working under general supervision. Eager to learn, highly organized and willing to contribute creatively to the team.
Responsibilities: The role modifies or creates implementation documents, applying standard architectural techniques and collaborative design computations as assigned. It performs routine architectural assignments, may take on design responsibilities, and can handle higher‑level work for training purposes. The position may involve on‑site visits, field reviews, client and project meetings, as well as assisting in proposals, presentations, schedules, and processing documentation and samples. Communication with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors is required to incorporate information into project requirements, and participation in team meetings to discuss project, design, and technical issues is expected.
Qualifications: Requires an accredited professional degree in Architecture or a related field and typically 0‑3 years of experience. Candidates should be on the path to Architectural Registration, with sustainable design accreditation preferred. Licenses and certifications as applicable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic skills in Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Bluebeam, Twinmotion, Enscape, Navisworks, Dynamo, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and the MS Office Suite are required, with intermediate proficiency preferred for some tools. Fundamental knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines, materials, construction techniques, building codes, and QA/QC processes is essential. Strong presentation, graphic, and visualization abilities, clear written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, teamwork, multitasking, and deadline management are also required.
