Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to integrate CFD insights into design solutions.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers, ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects.
Lead CFD analysis projects for building services (HVAC, smoke control, thermal comfort, etc.).
Manage and mentor junior CFD engineers, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
Perform advanced CFD simulations for airflow, heat transfer, and contaminant dispersion in complex building environments. (thermal comfort (indoor/outdoor), external flow analysis for chillers and cooling towers, and thermal performance of data centers).
The Lead Engineer (CFD) will be responsible for delivering advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solutions across HVAC, tunnel ventilation, fire life safety, water systems, and infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to guide teams while ensuring compliance with international standards and client expectations.
Develop and validate CFD models using industry-standard tools (ANSYS Spaceclaim, CFX/Fluent, CFD-Post, OpenFOAM, Pyrosim, FDS & Pathfinder).
Excellent reporting, leadership, people & project management skills.
Strong knowledge of Fluid flow, Heat transfer, Fire dynamics, Turbulence and Multiphase flows.
Proficiency in CFD tools: ANSYS (SpaceClaim, Fluent/CFX, CFD Post), OpenFOAM, PyroSim (FDS), Pathfinder, SimScale.
Emergency ventilation system design for car parks, atriums, and corridors using CFD for fire and smoke modeling.
9–14 years of proven CFD experience across Building, Transport, Energy, Water, and Infrastructure sectors.
Fire Life Safety experience in building projects will be considered an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Hydraulic behavior and residence time analysis for water systems, storage tanks, reservoirs and pumping stations.
Evacuation Modeling for Fire/ emergency scenarios, Crowd and event mode scenarios.
