Drive the moving vehicle to recycle centres, disposal centres, and dumps;
Complete special client event tasks such as furniture moves, setups, and resets, etc.;
Perform seasonal snow and ice removal at client’s sites . The Lead Mover is a key resource in the seasonal snow and ice removal effort as defined in the client ’s Snow and Ice Removal Procedures;
Complete meeting room and furniture moves, setups, and resets to defined configurations.
Utilize the CMMS to manage and accurately record work effort;
Move large equipment on or off the client’s site ;
Perform minor indoor gardening tasks ;
Participate in meetings as required ; and
Meet with clients to gain a greater understanding of their requirements such as critical time lines , dates, locations, contact information of key requestor, scale of the request, recurrences, items to move, task to complete, etc.;
Monitor the CMMS for approved work orders for Mover tasks;
Take direction from the Manager, Facilities Management Services ;
Communicate with all stakeholders for clarification of tasks. Communication is paramount;
Expedite urgent and short notice requests;
Assist the Courier Driver with loading and unloading the Courier vehicle when needed;
Assist the Building Operators and Journeyperson technicians when needed;
Render down items and materials to divert materials to proper recycling streams;
Follow up on all work orders ensuring all tasks are performed to the satisfaction of the client ;
Assemble and take s down displays at different locations ;
Post flyers and posters around the facility when requested
Monitor, plan, and schedule work in advance of the requested date;
Ensure early morning furniture/room setups are completed in advance of the requested time;
Perform moves of furniture, supplies, equipment, and other items;
Perform light duties such as cleaning, garbage removal, and debris clean up;
Disassemble furniture if requested ;
Drive the moving vehicle for moves, deliveries, and pickups to other client locations or other locations within the Metro area ;
Clean out exterior courtyard drain grates;
Remove leaves and debris from library pits, stairs, and walkways between landscaper visits;
