What you would be doing

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare and process weekly/bi-weekly payment runs
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports as needed
  • Process and code vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and receiving documentation
  • Maintain vendor files and update vendor information in the accounting system
  • Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
  • Assist with data entry and general ledger maintenance
  • Manage all vendor payments including online, checks, ACH, wire transfers, etc.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data
  • Support accounts receivable functions as needed
  • Process expense reports and employee reimbursements

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Teams, and general computer skills

  • Experience with accounts payable processes and three-way matching
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar) preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Associates degree or Certified Bookkeeper certification preferred but not required
