Development Manager – Utility-Scale Renewables & BESS

Description

Our client, a growing independent power producer, is seeking a Development Manager to lead utility-scale renewable energy and BESS projects across the U.S. This role will oversee project development from early stage through financing and construction, coordinating all technical, environmental, permitting, and interconnection workstreams.

• Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk management, and key deliverables
• Lead development of utility-scale renewable and BESS projects
• Manage permitting, environmental studies, land agreements, and interconnection
• Coordinate with landowners, utilities, regulators, and internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, or related field
• Background working with project finance
• Strong knowledge of permitting, environmental processes, interconnection, and land management
• 5+ years’ experience in utility-scale renewable energy or BESS development
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills
