Ensure all purchasing activities comply with relevant laws and ethical standards.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels to avoid shortages and excesses.
Act as a point of contact for vendors regarding order acknowledgment and confirmation.
Assist in resolving any pricing discrepancies with vendors.
Provide support to production cells as needed.
Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives for cost savings improvements through waste elimination.
Timely address and rectify issues related to invoicing and shipping.
Identify cost savings opportunities in line with quality, service, and supply constraints
Maintain and update order promise dates regularly.
Support in forecasting the demand for materials and services, and the timely placement of purchase orders.
