Provide project review, design and the development of testing procedures on new and existing products.

Work with fiber cabling systems and polarity options
Develop instruction sheet content, application notes, and technical bulletins
Review customer requirement / specifications and identify proper solutions to meet the requirements
Responds to customer needs, challenges, and issues with possible resolution. Maintains accurate customer complaint reports and reports to the Senior Leadership Team on a regular basis
Provide demonstrations to customer base with knowledge of copper and fiber product lines
Test copper and fiber solutions for specific needs and requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related engineering field required
Minimum of 5 years in managing engineers
Minimum 8 years of technical support, applications, technical sales or engineering experience required
Leadership - Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and mentor team to drive towards success and foster a culture of excellence
Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, along with internal and external customers and key stakeholders
Visio and Autocad required
Full understanding of data center architecture and cabling topologies with design level expertise
Data Center certification preferred
Prior experience in design, estimation, and installation of networking products preferred
Copper and fiber background with understanding of electrical and light transmission required
Copper and fiber background, understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment required
BICSI RCDD certification preferred
Telecommunication Industry standards knowledge
