AUS Senior CPA

Description

• This position will collaborate with the finance team and report to the CFO
• Conduct internal audits to verify the accuracy and consistency of financials and identity potential areas for adjustment and improvement
• Assist with GAAP accounting and SOX compliance
• Assist with financial statement audits
• Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, resource allocations, and strategy
• Examining and analyzing financial accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Preparing balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and other financial reports
• Promote a team approach and maintain dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas.

Requirements

• Must be positive, friendly and professional.
• Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Work will be performed in flex hybrid home/office setting- must be in the Austin area, with 2-3 days being performed at the office per week.
• Willingness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as they arise.
• Able to perform duties independently.
• Requires periodic participation and attendance at company events and meetings.
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must demonstrate professional communication in reaching out to employees and managers for needed documents.
• 3-5+ years experience
• CPA required
• Must possess strong analytical skills and be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Exhibit excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize various tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
