Ensure job site is clean, organized and free of obstructions or tripping hazards
Perform in-field FTIR-based stack testing according to established procedures
Assist in developing and writing Standard Operating Procedures
Drive a company tow vehicle in a Commercial Vehicle Driver (CMV) capacity to transport the mobile lab and test equipment to the job site
Assist with performing in-lab FTIR sample analyses and building of calibrations
With assistance, troubleshoot and repair analytical instrumentation and sampling equipment
Record data and field notes and relay pertinent process details to supervisor
Participate in training for career development, safety and maintaining required certifications
Maintain and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Participate in a comprehensive Job Safety Analysis at the jobsite
Set up, operate, and maintain analytical testing equipment
Comply with all permits and sign in procedures for the site
Work closely with customers during in-field testing projects
Assist with data processing and report writing

Flexibility is a must as the position may require weekend travel or work for a few projects during the year
0-3 years of professional experience in an analytical laboratory setting preferred
Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation
FTIR-based testing of emission sources preferred
Work accurately, safely and efficiently
Capacity for overnight and local travel for multi-weekday projects 25%-75% of the time or more
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, chemistry preferred
