Review incident and accident reports to determine measures needed to prevent recurrences, including root cause analysis.
Directly manage processes related to hazardous waste generation, passivation chemistry monitoring and control, and related emergency response procedures.
Support the platform Director of EHS in all regulatory and corporate reporting requirements.
Act as the Emergency Response Leader for the organization.
Interface with EHS consultants in all appropriate internal auditing, reporting and training activities
Supportive an effective safety committee with clear goals and objectives.
Conduct worker risk assessments, including safety and occupational health, with emphasis on eliminating or reducing potential hazardous conditions.
Actively participate in HAZMAT training, required cleanups, and maintenance of equipment.
Review all PMs for mechanical integrity compliance, ensure that all piping is labeled and valve numbers are in place and accurate.
Support Chemical Passivation system daily operations including wastewater treatment operations, regulatory sampling and permitting, and process tank testing and maintenance.
Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees.
Identify EHS training needs, conduct and oversee training, and ensure maintenance of the company training database.
Develop SOPs for the Chemical Passivation department, ensure that all P&ID's are up to date.
Develop, or assist in developing, organizing, scheduling and conducting training programs for the Chemical Passivation department, HAZMAT team, and confined space entry and rescue team.
Own the chemical receiving processes from dock to storage
Work with production supervisors to develop and implement programs to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with EHS regulations, policies and procedures.

Good understanding of federal, state and local regulatory authority, including: EPA, OSHA, DOT, and familiarity with federal, RCRA, CWA, SWPPP, SPCC, PSM, PHA, LOTO, PPE, HAZMAT, Machine Guarding, GHS, Confined Space Entry, Crane Safety, and Forklift Training.
Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service attitude.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Previous experience with industrial wastewater treatment and chemical passivation.
Experience in implementing and/or maintaining ISO14001, ISO45001, or similar certification system.
ASP, CSP, or similar professional certification desireable
Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
Industrial/Manufacturing EH&S experience
Proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft office suite).
