Produce and check structural steel design calculations and drawings.
Develop cost estimates and material takeoffs.
Provide schedule and staffing input for projects.
Conduct preparation of designs and structural calculations.
Provide structural engineering services and field support.
Perform site walk downs of construction sites.

Ability to coordinate and manage multiple large-scale, multi-discipline projects.
Proficiency with structural codes and standards.
Capability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff, and vendors.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with structural computer programs such as STAAD PRO.
Proficiency with OSHA regulations.
Ability to perform structural inspections and provide written reports.
Extensive experience with structural steel connection design.
Detailed knowledge of structural steel and concrete design principles.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
