The CAD Operator will use basic computer drafting software to generate site plans and construction drawings for Kimley-Horn projects, design and produce sets of plans, and implement and manage AutoCAD drafting and plan preparation standards. They will assist in maintaining the drawing database, perform routine analysis to check data accuracy, and develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate’s degree preferred, and 0 to 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products is preferred, and applicants must be detail‑oriented, possess a professional attitude, strong communication skills, and be a self‑starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.
