As the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, vendors, and colleagues, the associate highlights community amenities, determines customer needs, and resolves or escalates issues. They nurture relationships, deliver service that exceeds expectations, and meet leasing ratios, sales goals, and resident‑satisfaction milestones throughout the leasing process.
The role includes managing lease files, maintaining paperwork, and using Yardi accounting software to track the leasing process. Marketing responsibilities involve updating social‑media sites, completing advertising tasks, and staying informed about local market conditions and competition.
Applicants need at least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or retail; strong typing and computer skills; and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while leasing or real‑estate knowledge, Yardi experience, and understanding of tax credit or fair‑housing practices are preferred. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with a valid driver’s license, may be required.
The position is non‑exempt with an hourly rate of $19.95‑$22.05, based on skills, experience, and location, plus potential commissions, bonuses, and allowances.
