The position allows you to apply technical expertise to develop and maintain integrated project schedules for engineering, procurement, and construction scopes of nuclear power generation projects, collaborating directly with project management, client management, and site personnel.
You will work with industry and proprietary software tools such as Primavera P6, under the direction of the project lead, to support schedule development, performance monitoring, risk identification, and reporting for the project team and clients.
- Implement project controls tools and methodology.
- Develop and support schedule requirements per client procedures and best practices.
- Perform critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage schedule contingency and collaborate on risk identification.
- Provide regular project updates and report baseline deviations.
- Support month‑end closing and phase‑gate processes.
- Ensure standardized file locations for schedule documents.
- Produce look‑ahead, actuals, and schedule quality reports.
- Assemble documentation to satisfy team and client requests.
- Analyze data and create reports for project monitoring and decision making.
- Interface with project management to track schedule performance.
- Travel to client offices for coordination meetings as needed.

A minimum of five years of relevant project experience, a post‑secondary degree, and proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel or Access, are required, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include internship or co‑op experience in project controls within the power industry, professional certifications such as AACE CST or PMI equivalents, or completion of comparable training and proficiency testing.

- Experienced in applying project controls concepts.
- Minimum five years of relevant project experience and a post‑secondary degree.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced expertise in MS Excel and/or MS Access for interactive spreadsheets and databases.
- Optional: Engineering internship or co‑op experience in project controls, especially within the power sector.
- Optional: AACE CST or PMI equivalent certification, or working towards advanced AACE/PMI credentials.
- Optional: Completed equivalent training or passed proficiency testing in lieu of certification.
