Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on structures, possess three to five years of professional experience in inspection and field surveys, and are members of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec or another provincial engineering board. Additional assets include drone pilot or rope‑access certifications (SPRAT, IRATA), a master’s degree in structures, familiarity with bridge standards (CAN/CSA‑S6) and analysis software (SAP, CSiBridge, ADA), and MTMD certifications. Fluency in French is required for Quebec‑based positions, and English fluency is also mandatory.
