The technician performs preventive maintenance, adjusts and repairs functional parts, and works with programmable logic controllers, variable‑frequency drives, and human‑interface modules. They diagnose equipment breakdowns, conduct electrical troubleshooting, and test faulty equipment, while also handling purchase‑order requisitions and maintaining work‑order records. Additional duties include moving and setting up workstations, minor facility repairs, participating in emergency response teams, and training less‑experienced staff, all while adhering to safety procedures and maintaining PIT and First‑Aid certifications.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of electro‑mechanical diagnostic experience in manufacturing, covering plumbing, welding, motor repair, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. A two‑year college or technical certificate in industrial electronics, machine maintenance or a related field is required, with a high school diploma/GED preferred and an associate degree considered a plus.
