What you would be doing

- Check quality of the finished product
- Follow on site safe work practices – Fall Protection training, First Aid, WHMIS
- Follow health and safety regulations by wearing required equipment and protection
- Complete quality related documents accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow all injury prevention policies and procedures
- Use crane to move or unload sealed units
- Identify materials that do not meet the quality requirements and reporting the defectivematerial to the Team Leader
- Operate equipment used in the assembly of sealed units
- Report all activities and hazards that may create an unsafe work environment
- Identify and demonstrate use of personal protective equipment required for the safe handling of glass and razor blades
- Keep work area free from clutter, recycling waste, and removing all dust daily
- Work with team members to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in the productionprocess

- Comfortable with computer applications used in the manufacturing process
- Experience working with diverse cultures and a variedworkforce
- 1+ years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred. Willing to train
- Computer skills
- Skilled with various methods of measurement and verification
- Knowledge of Lean and 6S at work
- Creative, artistic and enjoying working with your hands
- Self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision
- Comfortable with units of measure such as mm and inches (metric system)
- Able to read and interpret specification sheets
- High comfort level working in a fast-paced team environment that is constantly changing
