As a key member of the GSI Supply Chain Finance team, you will collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, the six regional groups and manufacturing facilities to drive cost deflation, enhance margins and improve cash flow. Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance leader, you will partner with operational teams to define strategic sourcing initiatives, action plans and quantify financial benefits for the business.
In this role you will implement GE Vernova Electrification sourcing finance metrics, delivering forecasts, reports and analyses that influence inflation/deflation and purchase price variance for direct‑material commodities. You will support strategic negotiations, drive productivity and cash‑flow optimization, lead analytics and reporting for inventory and cash management, and work with sourcing to optimize payment terms and working‑capital performance.
You will also contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives such as supplier diversification, onboarding of new or multiple suppliers for critical long‑lead components, and vendor‑financing programs. Your responsibilities include overseeing material‑market trend planning, supporting the annual standard‑price process, developing lean sourcing‑finance processes, digitized solutions and continuous‑improvement activities, and ensuring data accuracy with supply‑chain and process‑tools teams.
Required qualifications include a degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance and 5‑7 years of experience in finance, accounting or sourcing, along with strong analytical, project‑management, communication and leadership skills. The role demands the ability to work under tight deadlines, influence across a matrix organization, and collaborate with remote, cross‑functional and cultural teams.
