- Inciter les intervenants à respecter les règles de sécurité au travail en vigueur au chantier;
- Exécuter toute autre tâche connexe.
- Coordonner, superviser et encadrer les autres surveillants de chantier et surveillants stagiaires;

- Aptitudes en rédaction de rapports et en travail d’équipe multidisciplinaire;
- Posséder un permis de conduire valide et la carte ASP construction;
- 8 ans d’expérience minimum pertinente en surveillance de travaux urbains;
- Agit à titre de mentor et de spécialiste technique au terrain pour le département d’infrastructures urbaines;
- Maîtrise du français (l’anglais est un atout).

- Lire les plans et devis, les interpréter, les comparer aux travaux et faire rapport des écarts constatés;
- DEC en génie civil;
- Gérer les communications avec les citoyens au chantier;
- Examiner la qualité d'exécution des travaux parachevés pour s'assurer qu'elle est conforme aux normes;
- Rédiger des rapports journaliers sur la progression des travaux;
- Maîtrise du logiciel AutoCAD (un atout);
