Operator III - 2nd shift (ProPress I)

Description

• Monitor and operate processing equipment with minimal supervision to meet production targets.
• Assist higher‑level operators and train lower‑level operators as needed.
• Use measuring tools to verify quality specifications on manufactured parts.
• Operate material handling and processing equipment for production and raw‑material replenishment.
• Update shop‑floor management system and CIP boards as required.
• Identify equipment malfunctions, assist with repairs, and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Communicate with process and tooling technicians to support root‑cause analysis.
• Visually inspect workstations, pull supplies, and transport materials using appropriate handling equipment.
• Notify supervisors when supplies reach reorder levels and identify raw‑material types and part numbers.
• Test and inspect finished products, report non‑conforming items, and execute rework or isolation procedures.
• Enter accurate data into the quality control system and flag raw materials that fail quality standards.
• Participate in 6S activities, workshops, meetings, and cross‑functional training as needed.
• Apply basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and interpret work orders, blueprints, or drawings.
• Maintain a positive attitude, provide superior service, and uphold the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Work flexible shifts and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity, ability to perform repetitive tasks, and strong communication skills.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent, with 6–12 months of related experience (or equivalent education/experience).

Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 hourly, based on education, experience, and market factors, and includes eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus tied to company and individual performance.
