Prepare and draft demand letters, outline and narrative summaries, and chronologies of installer risk records of events under an Attorney’s supervision.
Manage, update and assist with case spreadsheet/database of legal claims, complaints, and other legal filings related to each business.
Check and acknowledge Service of Processes and send an acknowledgement letter promptly.
Backup other team members within Legal Ops as necessary.
Compile information and contents for exhibits to all agreements. Help support the contract execution process, including assembling agreements and exhibits, and obtaining signatures from authorized signatories as needed.
Co-manage corporate books, maintain, and update various forms of agreements, and records as needed.
Review NDAs and any other documents (e.g. PSAs, SOWs, amendments, assignments, estoppels) assigned under the direction of either the Director of Legal Ops and Contracts and/or an Attorney.
Support in-house counsels with providing overall administrative support including but not limited to: (i) preparing various types of letters, claims, schedules, invoices, status reports, and supporting documents in a timely manner, (ii) interfacing with vendors/service providers and cross-functional teams to process invoices and expenses for in-house counsels, (iii)setting-up meetings, and (iv) other administrative duties and ad-hoc projects as needed.
Check and liaise between the business teams and legal to verify facts for demand letters, complaints, and other legal filings against installers and other residential business partners.
Prepare case analysis, and identify issues, omissions, and discrepancies.

Advance understanding and knowledge of litigation process and ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Must have a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
Experience with the solar or renewable industry is a plus.
Enjoy learning using new software or any type of computer system (e.g. Agiloft).
Ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities.
CA Notary public, Remont Online Notary (RON), or willing to become one.
Able to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Computer and tech savvy. Advanced level in MS Office Suite, G-Suite, Salesforce, and Adobe Pro (pdf), AdobeSign/DocuSign.
Confidence and ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience or equivalent in in-house legal department or law firm experience.
