The Pet Center Manager reports to the Community Director and is responsible for overseeing staff, boarding and daycare services for dogs and cats, front desk operations, cleanliness, supply ordering, and collaboration with the property manager to ensure resident satisfaction.
This non‑exempt role includes supervisory duties over corporate and onsite employees, requiring the manager to lead by example, resolve HR conflicts, and report directly to the Property Manager.
Candidates must demonstrate strong reading comprehension, customer service, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as basic math abilities for handling routine maintenance tasks and logical reasoning for problem solving. Proficiency with company software and a valid driver’s license are also required.
The work environment involves both indoor and outdoor settings across apartment complexes, exposing the manager to varying weather conditions and requiring physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, and operating golf carts. Reasonable accommodations are provided as needed.
