Provide project managers (PMs) with key financial insights to keep projects profitable and on budget. Monitor budget variances and provide analysis to management. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting procedures and systems. Implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Accounts Receivable and Billing: Oversee the accurate and timely creation of customer invoices. Support the billing and accounts receivable process as a secondary.
General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations. Prepare fixed asset and depreciation schedules and fixed asset reconciliations.
Labor Reporting: Develop and maintain labor reporting to ensure effective utilization. Make recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Keep abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards. Maintain proper documentation of accounting policies and procedures. Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future revenues and expenses.
Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and support to auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
