Maintain and evolve Perth Airport's Azure Fabric Data Platform for reliable, scalable, secure analytics.

Tasks

-Ensure compliance with WHS and data governance requirements, protecting sensitive and regulated information -Provide training and support to strengthen data literacy and self-service capability across the airport -Monitor system health, costs, and performance, applying improvements to maximise efficiency -Collaborate with analysts, engineers, business teams, and vendors to improve data delivery and usability -Oversee the operation, optimisation, and security of the Azure Fabric Data Platform -Implement standards for data quality, governance, documentation, and access control -Design, manage, and optimise data pipelines, storage, and compute resources to support analytics, reporting, and APIs

What You Bring

-A problem-solver who can adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and integrity -Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure technologies (Fabric, SQL Server, OneLake, Fabric Data Factory, Purview, DevOps, Apache Spark) -7+ years of experience designing, building, and managing data platforms and data product workloads -Strong skills in Python, SQL, PowerShell, Power Query, and cloud-native data integration -Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks -Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts clearly -Proven experience building and managing resilient data pipelines across ERP, IoT, and SaaS applications -Experience with Agile, ITIL, and DevOps practices -A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
