Forensic Architect conducting investigations, designing repairs, and supporting litigation.

Tasks

-Independently conduct assessments of building envelopes, fire-rated construction, and other architectural elements, including cause and origin investigations. -Manage, mentor, and perform peer reviews of junior staff, including drafting construction documents and condition assessments with order-of-magnitude cost estimating. -Analyze building codes, industry standards, and construction documents; design repairs for defective construction. -Observe, document, and review testing protocols and related materials, including documentation for litigation support. -Potentially testify in arbitration, deposition, or trial. -Communicate with clients to understand project requirements, memorialize findings in reports, and prepare materials for presentations. -Complete technical and investigative reports to support forensic findings.

What You Bring

-8+ years of experience preferred. -Professional License required. -Degree (Master’s preferred) in Architecture or Architectural Engineering. -Proficient in AutoCAD, experience with Revit a plus. -Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.
