Design roadways in accordance with AASHTO and NYSDOT specifications and CADD Standards using Bentley Open Roads, Open Bridge, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Work alongside experienced practitioners to expand your knowledge.
Perform field work and support construction phase services.
Prepare engineering reports and technical studies such as design memos, feasibility studies, Concept Design Reports, Design Exception Reports, and Preliminary Engineering Reports.
Develop design plans and calculations, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.

Experience with Open Roads Designer, Open Bridge Designer, and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Understanding of civil engineering design concepts for grading, drainage, earthwork, roads, bridges, and culverts.
Civil engineering technician/technology diploma from a recognized community or technical college or the ability to demonstrate sufficient knowledge received from previous experience.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office, BlueBeam, Projectwise.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Strong communication, coordination, time management, and organizational skills.
Detail oriented and ability to remain focused.
