Key accountabilities include identifying site‑management staffing needs and hiring team members, leading continuous‑improvement initiatives across site‑management processes and tools, and coordinating on‑site activities such as start‑up, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning to meet contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and HSE requirements. You will also guide regional Site Management teams to ensure consistent adherence to ABB policies and work closely with service and factory organizations to connect sites to the central document‑handling system.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Management (advanced degrees are a plus) and at least 10 years of experience in data‑center start‑up and commissioning. Optional experience as a field‑service resource or commissioning engineer with low‑ and medium‑voltage electrical equipment is valued. Candidates must be skilled in low‑ and medium‑voltage start‑up strategies, passionate about data‑center construction, fluent in English, U.S. citizens, and able to obtain government facility clearances.
Compensation ranges from $116,200 to $185,920 annually, with eligibility for a short‑term incentive plan and an annual bonus.
