As a Professional Engineer, you will play the lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for our public and private clients.
As you advance in your career, you may also plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure that projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets. The coordination activities include regular communication with the client, project schedule and budget oversight and subconsultant coordination.
You will also help with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, and public involvement and other presentation opportunities.
Specific tasks that you will perform include design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation.
You will compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications for projects.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree from an accredited school and 4-7 years of experience in Transportation / Municipal engineering or related field.
Ability to work in Rochester, Fargo, Bismarck, Burnsville or Minneapolis.
Our preferred candidate will have their MN or ND PE license or the ability to obtain their license within six months.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
You will have the ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or Microstation, and HydroCAD.
