Lead Carpenter Foreman

Description

• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on site.
• Lead and supervise carpentry crew in setting, bracing, and securing wood trusses, ledgers, roof and floor 3 ¼” tongue and groove plywood decks in accordance with engineered drawings and safety requirements.
• Provide hands-on leadership to crew members as needed.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and site conditions are prepared for efficient workflow.
• Coordinate with the project manager and superintendent to keep installation on schedule.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a lead carpenter or foreman on construction projects where significant roof and truss installations were required.
• Strong knowledge and experience with wood truss installation, Simpson Strong Ties, DIA Hilti KB3 anchors, layout, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• OSHA certification or safety training preferred.
