

The Licensing Administrator manages contractor licensing, business licensing, and construction permitting activities for Remi, ensuring full regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions where the company operates. This role supports field operations by maintaining accurate internal records to reduce project delays and minimize organizational risk. The position is full‑time and based in the Lehi, UT office.
In the Contractor & Business Licensing Management function, the Administrator researches and maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of licensing requirements for roofing and specialty contractors as well as business entities across all municipalities. They prepare, submit, and track applications for new licenses, renewals, and contractor registrations, and coordinate corporate documentation such as insurance certificates, bonds, financials, and qualifying‑party credentials. Digital files of active licenses and renewal dates are maintained, with proactive management of expiration timelines to prevent lapses.
The role also ensures regulatory compliance and risk management by confirming that all licensing activities meet federal, state, and local laws, building codes, and standards. The Administrator monitors regulatory changes, communicates updates to leadership, field teams, and compliance departments, and supports internal audits with detailed license records.
As the primary liaison with building departments and other regulatory agencies, the Administrator works closely with project managers, operations teams, and sales to verify license requirements, lead times, and jurisdictional constraints, and communicates issuance timelines and potential delays that could affect project scheduling.
Documentation and record keeping responsibilities include maintaining an organized database of licenses, applications, AHJ contact information, and jurisdictional requirements, preparing periodic status reports on permit metrics, renewals, and workflow volumes, and ensuring all documentation complies with company policies.
The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of business and contractor licensing requirements, excellent communication and relationship‑management skills with authorities having jurisdiction, and high attention to detail and organization to track multiple deadlines. They thrive in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities and varied jurisdictional processes, and are proficient with licensing portals and Google Workspace tools.
