- Own Gas Quality & Export: Ensure the upgrading plant consistently meets the high-quality specifications required for export and maintain continuous, smooth operation with the National Grid.
- Maximise Uptime: Execute planned and corrective maintenance on the core plant to guarantee maximum asset availability and meet demanding generation targets.
- Team Growth: Work alongside and be mentored by experienced O&M personnel to build strong in-house technical capabilities.
- Engine Support: Perform basic diagnostics and planned maintenance on supporting CHP engines.
- Process plant maintenance (chemical, water treatment)
- You’ll be part of a wider network of experts across operations, engineering, and compliance — all working together to deliver great water and a greener North West.

- An aptitude for fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Diagnose & Optimise: Learn to adjust and tune the gas treatment and upgrading processes to achieve peak biomethane purity and flow.
- You must have a valid driving licence
- Industrial or large engine maintenance (a plus, but not essential)
- Proactive, safety-conscious, and highly motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn and master new, complex systems
- A solid technical background: Proven hands-on experience in areas such as:
- The Biogas Upgrading Process and all associated ancillary equipment.
