During the internship, the intern will assist the superintendent, attend field meetings, review start packs and community plans, learn scheduling, quality‑control walks, and third‑party inspection management. They will also support the Customer Service department by learning ticketing processes, attending homeowner calls, and understanding subcontractor management. Additionally, the intern will gain exposure to purchasing functions such as vendor‑supply systems, bidding, negotiations, status reporting, and document maintenance.
The Construction, Customer Service and Purchasing Intern role offers a full‑time, 10‑12‑week summer experience (Monday‑Friday) beginning in summer 2026. Interns work side‑by‑side with seasoned construction professionals in the field, observe various construction stages, interact with third‑party trades, and ensure quality and safety standards. They also collaborate with the Division CS team to track warranty claims and with the Purchasing team on bid evaluation, vendor negotiations, and contract documentation.
Candidates should be currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management or a related field, possess a customer‑obsessed mindset, and enjoy collaborative team environments. The role requires the ability to work an eight‑hour day, travel to construction sites, stand or sit for extended periods, lift up to 20 lb, and hold a valid driver’s license for local travel.
