Assist the Resident Engineer in oversight of construction projects, ensuring compliance with the plans, specifications and applicable codes. Collaborate with Project Managers, the Contractor and field teams to ensure smooth project execution. Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, identify issues, and provide technical guidance as-needed. Track work and report on progress and milestones achieved, potential concerns and mitigation of risks. Assist with the preparation, response and review of RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, change orders and other documents required by the owner. Utilize project/construction management software and tools such as MS Office, Procore, Adobe Acrobat. Support the project closeout process by compiling as-built documentation, warranties, Owner-s Manuals, etc.
