Lead the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure upgrade, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and other relevant codes.
Oversee contractor performance to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Maintain accurate records of asset condition, warranties, and completed works.
Prepare and manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and procurement strategies.
Contribute to long-term asset management planning through data analysis and lifecycle costing.
Recommend strategic investment in infrastructure aligned to operational requirements.
Foster effective communication with internal stakeholders, tenants, and external agencies.
Identify and prioritise infrastructure needs through condition assessments, compliance audits, and stakeholder consultation.
Chair project meetings, issue progress reports, and facilitate project handovers.
Prepare business cases and board submissions for capital funding approval.
Ensure works are planned and executed with minimal disruption to business operations.
Implement safe work procedures and contractor inductions.
Engage and coordinate external consultants, contractors, and service providers.
Develop and manage the Capex program for infrastructure and facility upgrades.
Support internal audits and regulatory inspections where infrastructure is involved.

5+ years’ experience in project management of building infrastructure or facility upgrade projects.
Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and project tracking tools.
PMP, PRINCE2 or similar project management certification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience managing Capex and maintenance budgets in the range of $500k-$10M+.
Familiarity with government procurement frameworks or public sector delivery.
Experience in industrial, defence, or shipyard environments.
Proven ability to manage contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
Strong understanding of construction, building services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), and structural systems.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or related field Trade qualification.
