- Physical ability to stand and walk, lift, and carry items weighing 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to travel to job sites for verification purposes
- Apply knowledge of building codes, particularly glass type requirements for various applications
- Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or managing a small team
- Requires working in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions, in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures, including exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable
- Understanding of building codes related to windows, doors, and exterior materials
- Basic understanding of how to measure windows and doors
- Prior experience in order management, procurement, or a similar role requiring high attention to detail, preferably within the construction or home improvement industry
- Ability to move and climb an extension ladder safely
- Comfortable working in both office and construction site environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong framing and construction knowledge/experience in a remodeling context
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to learn proprietary software for ordering materials
- Ability to visualize spatial relationships and construction modifications
- Knowing the difference between replacement style and new construction style windows and when to use them.
- Experience installing doors and windows in a remodeling/replacement environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Includes exposure to contaminants, hazardous material, or equipment
- Proficient computer skills for order processing and documentation
- Familiarity with various window, door, siding, and trim products
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a collaborative team player
- Previous window and door installation experience is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- 50% of time in office and 50% of time on job site
