Provides engineering, architecture, and consulting services for infrastructure and built environments.
The position reports to the Department Project Engineer or Consultant and involves supervising inspections, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and quality‑control plans, and participating in daily field huddles. The supervisor must complete daily PSA’s and work sheets, adhere to overtime requirements, and seek guidance when needed.
Candidates must have at least one year of PennDOT Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI‑3) experience and hold a combination of certifications—PennDOT Concrete Technician, NECEPT Field Technician, and NICET Level II+ in Highway Construction—or meet alternative experience/certification combinations, including a Professional Engineer license. A BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, an Associate’s degree, or CMAA Certified Construction Manager certification are considered equivalent experience.
The role is full‑time, requires a background check, and is based in Ebensburg, PA with core business hours of 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM. Unsolicited resumes from agencies are considered property of GFT.
