Core duties include participating in service‑plan development, monitoring hydration, documenting meal attendance, respecting resident rights, initiating activities, and ensuring personal hygiene and continence needs are met. Associates also maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas, follow sanitary procedures, and respond promptly to call bells and security alerts.
- Participate in developing and updating Personalized Service Plans and attend review meetings with families.
- Follow each resident’s hydration schedule throughout the shift.
- Complete resident meal attendance sheets and provide room service when needed.
- Uphold resident rights and ensure compliance with all policies.
- Initiate and assist with resident activities as appropriate.
- Perform daily checks of resident cleanliness, clothing, continence, and condition changes.
- Apply proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
- Inspect resident rooms and high‑risk areas daily for cleanliness and address issues promptly.
- Assist with laundry and common‑area sanitation, including handling hazardous chemicals.
- Complete all ADLs per the resident’s PSP and respond immediately to call bells and security alerts.

Candidates should have at least a high‑school education (preferred), be 18 years or older, and possess prior experience working with elders or disabled individuals. Experience in assisted‑living, dementia care, or skilled nursing is preferred, and flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

- Prior experience caring for elders or individuals with disabilities.
- Minimum age of 18 to perform personal care duties.
