Reporting to a Plant Manager, the Production Intern participates in an approximately ten‑week program focused on the aggregates business. The internship provides hands‑on experience in the aggregates mining industry and helps develop both production and leadership skills.

Adhere to and enforce prescribed ethical, safety and environmental measures.
Operate and maintain equipment throughout the plant, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and heavy off‑road equipment.
Assist in the blasting process, including laying out drill patterns and loading shots.
Learn the traits of high‑performing managers at Martin Marietta.
Ensure all activities align with the Company’s Mission, Vision, Values, policies, procedures, and Code of Ethical Business Conduct.

Become familiar with the operations of an aggregate mine and the complete production process.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management and possess a valid driver’s license.
No prior full‑time experience required.
Ability to learn technical processes, strong verbal and written communication, and capacity to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
