- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit to the Project Manager.
- Execute and supervise all civil works related to substation foundations, control building, cable trenches, equipment foundations, boundary wall, and other associated structures.
- Support in preparing civil measurement sheets for contractor billing.
- Conduct inspections of civil works and ensure adherence to quality standards (IS/IEC codes).
- Verify and maintain site records, drawing registers, and material reconciliation.
- Coordinate with electrical/mechanical teams for interface works.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe working practices.
- Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and subcontractors for site progress and inspections.
- Ensure adherence to all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) norms at site.
- Report and record any near misses, incidents, or safety violations.
- Maintain records of cube tests, compaction tests, and other quality documents.
- Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Assist in preparing work schedules and monitor progress against plan.
- Monitor contractor manpower, machinery, and material utilization at site.
- Verify material quality (cement, aggregate, sand, steel, etc.) and approve usage after proper testing.

- Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Familiarity with IS codes and quality standards for civil works.
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and basic quantity estimation.
- Knowledge of substation civil layout, foundations, and earthing arrangements.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain timelines.
- Willingness to relocate and work at remote project sites.
- Experience: 3–8 years of experience in substation or power project civil construction.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong understanding of civil drawings and structural detailing.
