The role includes supervising vendors and subcontractors, maintaining preventive maintenance schedules, and establishing best practices for building, grounds, and operating systems. The technician must ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory guidelines, operate building management systems, and optimize utility usage and procurement.
The technician must operate, test, maintain, and restore components such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and lighting, structural, and life‑safety systems. This covers all system elements used within the property.
Applicants need at least two years of maintenance engineering experience with commercial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, a high school diploma or equivalent plus technical certification, and general maintenance skills in carpentry, painting, locksmithing, etc. A valid driver’s license, knowledge of HVAC/plumbing/electrical terminology, proficiency with building trade tools, strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, multitasking, and basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills are required. Excellent attendance and flexibility for after‑hours or on‑call duties are also expected.
Salary will be determined based on skills, education, experience, internal equity, and team alignment.
