Ensure designs account for safety considerations, particularly for tunnels under main roads, near adjacent buildings, and in critical zones.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to tunnel design and rail infrastructure projects.
Lead the design and engineering of tunnels, underground structures, and associated works for rail projects.
Perform geotechnical analysis and collaborate with geotechnical engineers to assess ground conditions and optimize tunnel design solutions.

Strong focus on safety, quality, and timely delivery
Experience in reviewing and approving material submissions, technical reports, and design documentation.
Analytical and problem-solving ability
Expertise in Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) design considerations and tunneling methods.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams for complex infrastructure projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong technical writing capabilities.
Familiarity with UAE/GCC regulations and international standards for tunnel design and rail projects.
Program and project management expertise
Minimum of 15 years of experience in tunnel design and engineering, with a focus on rail infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of materials used in tunnel construction, such as concrete, steel, and shotcrete.
