Description

As a technical specialist, you will analyse and resolve technical drainage issues, provide technical support to other departments and operatives, supervise work processes and ensure strict health‑and‑safety compliance.

Advise operatives on day‑to‑day duties.
Liaise with network engineers and Thames Water’s operational team.
Coordinate with planners and schedulers.
Conduct pollution tracing.
Carry out auditing and compliance checks.
Verify competency of new starters.
Apply Lanes Group policies and fulfill related responsibilities.
Undertake reasonable ad‑hoc tasks, duties or projects as directed by management.

Benefits

The Drainage Technical Specialist role is based at the Customer Solution Centre in Slough, Berkshire, though it may cover any region in the network. It is a permanent full‑time position, working Monday to Friday (40 hours) with an on‑call rota, offering an OTE of £34,000 per annum and benefits such as 21 days holiday, a health cash plan, onsite parking and a pension scheme.

Working 24/7 in a flexible schedule, the successful candidate will receive full training, personal protective equipment and company‑provided tools to ensure they can meet Lanes’ high standards of operation, regardless of prior experience.
