An exciting opportunity is available for a 16-hour Senior Library Assistant on the Researcher Services Onsite team at the Manukau Research Centre. The role sits within Research and Heritage Services and works Monday‑Friday from 12 pm to 4 pm (excluding Thursday).
The primary focus is the delivery and development of in-person research services for the public and a range of site‑based research tasks. Responsibilities include rostered reference‑desk shifts, retrieval and shelving of research collections, and assisting both virtual and face‑to‑face customers using the centre’s extensive local, family‑history, Māori and international collections.

The role requires strong relationship‑building, collaboration across teams, and a high degree of confidence with technology.
