The Project Manager will work in Nikkiso ACD’s Project Management Department in Santa Ana, CA, reporting to the Lead Project Manager. This role manages the full life‑cycle of projects for diverse customers, establishing scope, allocating resources, and ensuring customer satisfaction while delivering on time and within budget.
- Identify project stakeholders and determine their needs and expectations.
- Coordinate schedule, budget, and risk mitigation activities for assigned projects.
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and monitor project work to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Perform cost accounting and manage risk/opportunity assessments.
- Maintain regular contact with project clients and equipment vendors.
- Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve management issues.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and properly stored.
- Facilitate communication of project requirements across all Nikkiso disciplines and participants.
- Generate project schedules, budgets, statements of work, and status reports.
- Provide monthly project status updates and manage day‑to‑day client communication.
- Implement and track project budgets and schedules throughout execution.
- Create and adjust project work plans to accommodate changing requirements.
- Apply project methodology and enforce standards consistently.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams, revising plans as needed.
- Apply advanced knowledge of project management standards and best practices.
- Evaluate performance quickly and accurately, supporting decision‑making.
- Motivate team members and resolve conflicts to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Manage change and maintain strong customer relations.
- Negotiate agreements and terms with expertise.

The position requires standing, walking, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lb, with possible overtime on weekdays, weekends, nights, or holidays. Work is primarily office‑based but may involve travel to client offices, production facilities, or construction sites. Employees must complete safety training, wear required PPE, and comply with Nikkiso cryogenic safety requirements.
Candidates need at least four years of engineering product or project management experience; a bachelor’s degree and PMP certification are preferred. An equivalent mix of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Benefits
