  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of Carbon Reduction with the supply chain.
  • Align with and support the group procurement goals and objectives.
  • Be involved in all stages of the projects from, tender, preconstruction, contract negotiations and construction.
  • Supply chain management, including sourcing and structuring the supply chain, carrying out performance and relationship management to drive improved performance/cost benefits.
  • Provide an effective and professional service in the procurement of sub-contractors and material for strategic trades including construction stage project management.
  • Deliver competitive procurement solutions that balance cost, quality and sustainability.
  • Monitor supply chain performance, compliance, workload, and financial status to ensure the company is protected.
  • Manage the procurement of all materials for allocated projects in line with agreed procurement strategy, ensuring best value solutions for the business.
  • Provide competitive procurement solutions for trades which demonstrate best overall value for money.

  • A strong team player who is customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of strategic procurement/buying practices.
  • Attention to detail with good time management and negotiating skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 Office and specifically Excel Software.
  • Effective Written and verbal Communication.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working the M&E building services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability and safety within procurement practices.
  • Knowledge and skills to effectively solve problems.
  • Utilising your experience in M&E building services and be the category specialist across projects.
