You will implement test automation using HiL, PiL, and MiL across electrical and industrial segments, focusing on system validation automation, new product development, test coverage, compliance, and industry standards. You will write test specifications and scripts, execute tests on HIL, analyze results, modify test cases, provide logs, discuss issues with the team, and support integration. Additionally, you will design test procedures, automation scripts, and software tools, document results, and manage the defect lifecycle.
You will collaborate with local and global suppliers for hardware/software procurement and test‑lab setups, participate in system and software reviews and FMEA, and work within international teams. Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, creativity, and a high degree of aptitude are required.
The role requires 3‑6 years of test automation experience, a bachelor's degree in electronics, automotive, or electrical engineering, and hands‑on experience with model‑based development in the automotive domain. Experience includes setting up HIL test systems using ETAS or National Instruments toolchains, manual and automated testing of embedded control products, and proficiency with tools such as VeriStand, LabVIEW, CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe, ClearCase, and ClearQuest. Strong scripting skills in Python, VBA, or M‑scripting, knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, J1939, CCP, XCP, Modbus), and familiarity with CMMI processes, requirements management, and configuration management are essential.
