Verify the competency and certification of all personnel involved in lifting operations.
Supervise all lifting operations in accordance with the approved lifting plan and method statement.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards (e.g., LOLER, BS 7121), and company safety policies.
Deliver toolbox talks and lifting safety briefings to site personnel.
Ensure that lifting equipment and accessories are certified, properly inspected, and maintained.
Investigate lifting-related incidents or near misses and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Maintain records of all lifting activities, permits, and equipment certifications.
Conduct site assessments and pre-lift meetings to identify risks and implement control measures.
Coordinate with site engineers, HSE officers, and PMV team to plan lifting schedules and equipment needs.
Work closely with crane operators, riggers, and signalers to ensure safe execution of lifts.

Strong knowledge of cranes, rigging gear, lifting accessories, and relevant safety standards.

Experience in reading and interpreting lifting plans, load charts, and risk assessments.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical field (preferred).
